It's like approaching the dark frequency or something.
DXA
The immediate success of DXA from my point of view is its ability to empower the DXpedition instead of the reverse when cluster zombies maniacally manipulate the networks. As stated at the website, "DXA is an innovative website that allows DXers to view the QSO log and the status and the activities of the DXpedition in near-real-time. The entire application runs within a standard browser-no software needs to be downloaded or installed."
The benefits of DXA --
- It reduces dupes.
- It eliminates pirating.
- It reduces cheating.
- It improves DXpedition performance.
- It improves QSLing practices.
- It generates new participants in DXing and ham radio.
- It is fun.
Think Abouts
Another DXA power additive is the possibility of determining optimal path from your location. The visualization is much like DX Maps and concentrated trace lines to confirmed Qs suggest both conditions to and path to specific continents.
Additionally, I'm going to observe reverse beacon network (RBN) and its skimmer outputs with an idea to watch climbing signal-to-noise ratios. The goal is to determine maximum usable frequency.
Furthermore, I'm on record here, logging Clipperton from points in EU and AF are exceptionally difficult and hopefully, DXA can facilitate patience during EU/AF openings?
The Blogs
Lastly, KY6R produces two noteworthy blogs, Klown Time Is Over The Art, Science, and Blathering of Rich Holoch in addition The DXCC Sleuth Finding and preserving the rich history of the ARRL DXCC Program.
Chase DX with patience and respect.
