I am looking for volunteers to assist with administrating exams during the Dayton Hamvention ® this year. I need to turn in the information for my volunteers by the end of the month.
We tested 300 hams/potential hams last year (2012), and had 30 volunteers for each session. This year we are anticipating as many as 400 tests will be given. So, we will need at least 35 volunteers per session. If you know of anyone that would like to volunteer, please give them my DESloan@aol.com and ask them to contact me.
I have changed the testing sessions to allow us to give more tests. Session one will now start at noon on Friday. So noon till 3:00 will be session 1A and 1B will be from 3:00 till 6:00. There will again be three sessions this year. Session 1A will be from noon Friday 17 May, 2013 until 3:00 PM and 1B will be from 3:00 PM until 6 PM.. Session Two will be from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday 18 May, 2013. While Session Three will be Saturday 18 May, 2013 from 1:30 PM until 5:00 PM . I will need everyone to report at least 30 minutes before your session starts for instructions and assignments. If you work only one session you will receive your credentials, ticket, and a hat. If you help at two or all of the sessions then you will also get a parking pass.
When you respond please provide your name, call sign, email address, phone number, if VE or not, and session (s) you want to work.
