RadioSport: The Ultimate Weekend Experience |
We've got collateral fun seeking your attention, competing for bandwidth on multiple wavelengths, while guaranteeing high frequency activity across the planet. The one uncontrollable player in this game is our G4 class star. What's is it going to be? The Dawgs wanna know.
As for me, I'm all in for the Russian DX Contest, looks like I'll need to punch it Morse code when the North American Sprint, SSB event kicks off on 20m for at least an hour. The North American Sprint is fast and furious!
We also have the hardcore Potomac Valley Amateur Radio Club and its Virginia contingent seeking Qs in the Virginia QSO Party including the Oklahoma QSO Party passing out those rare Heartland counties on legacy modes. Likewise, our RTTY niche gets to play during the BARTG HF RTTY event as well.
Whose going to win the first ever Virginia QSO Party plaque for single operator youth category and one must be 18 years or younger? Please annotate your age in the soapbox comments of your Cabrillo Log to compete in this slot.
Bandwidth is premium this weekend however if Cycle 24 numbers stay true with cooperative space weather conditions then it is all out RadioSport fun!
Contest on.
P.S. I'm in the chair at Whiskey Six Alpha Bravo, Satellite Amateur Radio Club this weekend for the Russian DX Contest. Hope to see a few Dawgs in the log.
