Space weather for the past 24 hours has been minor with radio blackouts reach R1 levels.

The HAARP Spectrum Monitor is an automated data collection system with two different antenna systems used to pick up background radio frequency. A discone antenna system is used for frequencies between 30 MHz and 1 GHz in addition to a pair of orthogonal dipoles used for reception below 30 MHz.
