Mini Radio Dawg Spotted In The Audience
Good afternoon from #hamr shackadelic zone as I'm listening to a Zulu Lima Two (ZL2) on 10m Morse code. His style is flawless. Additionally, I have SpotCollector and DXView World Map on the second monitor, and Cycle 24 production at this hour is worth mentioning, "Tell me again about the time back in 1964 when you worked Europe on a lawn chair."

In the meantime, I enjoyed a stellar Saturday afternoon at W6AB, Satellite Amateur Radio Club, discussing Field Day activities. The biggest myth about Field Day is its contest shadow. Admittedly, I was caught up in making as many Qs as possible and last year one of our statesmen said, "Field Day is supposed to be fun!"

I was immersed to the point where I couldn't see the paddles for the boom microphone. His words resonated with me after all Field Day is a community event with broad reach. My main point during the presentation is keeping our emergency exercise fun with its educational, social, and technological components. Yes, it is understood, and message received that our service must be prepared to meet specific contingencies that is responding to a natural disaster or national emergency.

On the other hand, as a statesmen in our hobby said, "Field Day is not a contest. Field Day is supposed to be fun!"
