Last night was the 50MHz UKAC so I decided to have a dabble in it, my 6m setup isn’t anything special. I use a HB9CV at around 26 feet and the Yaesu FT-950 with the IF-2000 Panadapter board, which makes finding stations very easy and worked well for this contest.
Conditions didn’t seem too bad, although I struggled to work anything further than IO92 – I did hear 1 GM but was up and down in QSB and wasn’t able to work him which was a shame.
Ended up finishing the contest with 21 QSOs.
