We enter 2013 in very good shape as a club. Past President, Mike Ernst AE8U and last year’s officers did a fine job shepherding the club through a transition period. We are financially sound and growing membership. Our repeater is in good shape and well used. Our social functions and radio events were well attended in 2012.
In 2013, we have the opportunity to increase the participation of all club members in the running of the club through the “committees” we intend to form. If you have had an interest in becoming more active in the club’s operations and events, this is your year to set up. Contact me, the other officers or come to the meetings to get involved.
If you have an interest in researching a topic to present to the club at our monthly meetings, please contact me. I would like to see more members do presentations. You do not need to be an expert, just research a topic and present your findings to the club.
