KA3DRR (Scot): Blue Sky Goals

Certainly, arm chair quarterbacking is easier along with instant replay after the fact, because hindsight is twenty-twenty vision. I extracted time out from my schedule to think about blue sky goals in relationship to a future-focused strategic plan and Amateur Radio. I'm not one to arm chair quarterback and my current series of blog postings is my attempt at sparking conversation about our future.

I also believe, our times are serious times and its disruptive wave of influence, is dramatically reshaping the DNA of my life trajectory.

My first blue sky goal is the deployment of an Amateur Radio satellite in orbit around Mars before the end of the decade.

My second blue sky goal is a licensed Amateur Radio operator whom is the first to step on Mars.

My third blue sky goal is the design, testing, and production of cognitive transceivers capable of sensing interference to a predefined index then immediately shifting to next available clear channel on the same wavelength.

My fourth blue sky goal is the design, testing, and production of smart antenna systems capable of sensing feed point impedance in addition to impedance at the transmitter then reconfiguring without the use of traps or other electromechanical devices.

My fifth blue sky goal is design, testing, and ad hoc deployment of portable UHF/VHF communication networks using unmanned aerial vehicles as point-to-point communication platforms.

This evening, I wanted to connect my goals with my values, and once more look at the health of Amateur Radio going into the next century.
